Dr. Dana Mackey, the founder of DDM Music, LLC, which is her own Record Label and Publishing Company, is a psalmist, worshipper, musician, songwriter, music producer, and branding & marketing coach whose heart for worship spills over with gratitude in the very presence of God. Passionate about helping others experience the presence of God, Dana’s music sets a prophetic atmosphere conducive to healing, deliverance, salvation, and freedom!

 

Dana’s debut Album “With Praises From The Heart” received National attention in 2007.  Now today as a gospel artist, psalmist, musician, and songwriter, Dana’s music has exploded into the now Christian and Gospel artist arena, and her single “With Praises” began to spin in rotation on various radio stations around the Country. One of Dana’s accomplishments includes a Stellar Award Nomination (First Round New Artist of the Year) in 2009.

 

Dana has ministered across the country at various events and has shared the stage or performed in same venue with other artists such as Jimmy Hicks and the Voices of Integrity, Luther Barnes, Dorinda Clark Coles Regional Singers and Musicians Conference, Jacky Clark Chisolm, Vickie Winans, Beverly Crawford, Melba Moore, Benita Jones, Evangelist Lemmie Battles, Judy Peterson, Zebulon Ellis, Martha Munizzi, Yolanda Adams, Madelyn Berry, Tonya Baker, The Crabb Family, and Carlton Burgess just to name a few.

 

In 2010, she accepted the call of prison ministry through DDM Music LLC in which she humbly shares her musical and speaking gifts at various correctional institutes for men and women in the Florida Area. As she ministers to the Kings and Queens behind the bars, she encourages them of their freedom in Christ through music and the Word of God.

 

In 2018, Dana began to re-ignite and activate her gift as a prophetic minstrel and musician, as she loves to adore and worship God on the keys and bask in His presence.  From this passion, her latest Album "Overflowing Streams - Instrumental Soaking and Worship" was released in February of 2019 through International digital music stores.

In 2021, Dana presented a double CD Release: "Overflowing Streams Volume 2" and "My Heart's Desire"  distributed to all digital music platforms.

 

Dana acknowledges and gives all of the Glory and Honor to God for His Greatness.  She also credits her longtime friend and Producer/Musician, Ernest Collins Jr., for his amazing gifts.

 

Dana is married to her husband of 30 years, has four children and currently resides in Florida.

 

Dana was ordained and licensed as a Minister in 2017, and as a Prophet in 2022.  She received her Doctorate of Ministry from Manifest Theological Institute in 2018.  She currently serves at the Center for Manifestation Church, Tampa, FL, under the leadership of her Spiritual Parents, Apostle Mark T. Jones and Lady Lisa Jones.  She is one of the musicians for the Praise Team.

Dana graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering in 1987.  She is a licensed Professional Engineer with over 30+ years of experience in Traffic Engineering and Construction (Roadway, Intersections, Drainage, Resurfacing, Sidewalks and Bridges).
